Statement to voters
I was born in Norwich and raised between the city, Lakenham and rural Norfolk — a mix that shaped who I am.

After time in Yorkshire, where my wife Elizabeth trained as a nurse, we returned home and settled in Old Costessey.
I’ve spent my career in mental health, dementia care and crisis services, driven by a belief in compassion, fairness and listening. I have dyslexia and ADHD, which is why I’m determined to fix SEND so families don’t have to fight for support.
Rural communities like ours have been overlooked for too long. In 2024, South Norfolk voted for change with the election of Ben Goldsborough MP. I will work with him to make sure Yare Valley gets the investment and voice it deserves — on SEND, transport, health, education, housing and clean energy.
Yare Valley deserves a councillor who knows our area and will fight for local people. I’m ready to do that.
