Statement to voters

Nikki Fabry is the current Labour candidate for Telscombe Division for ESCC elections.

Full statement

A Town and District councillor for Labour she has worked hard for her community where she has lived for 31 years. She has volunteered for many years through St Nicholas pre-school committee, Saltdean Primary PTA, Longhill parent governor, Saltdean Lido campaign and managed websites for Saltdean primary and the Saltdean Community. She has previously worked in the charity sector and NHS and has worked now for many years in 16-19 education in Brighton where she is also a Unison rep. Brighton born and bred she still feels living in Saltdean on a sunny day is like being on holiday. She worked for many years in Peacehaven for the NHS and was given the opportunity in 2023 to stand for Peacehaven West for town and district council and currently Chair of Personnel and Vice Chair of the Grants sub-committee, also sitting on Policy and Finance and Leisure and Amenities. This stands her in good stead to represent Peacehaven North as part of the Telscombe Division. She believes in giving time for her local community, valuing others, social justice and that every resident matters.
