Statement to voters
Hi, If elected I shall all my "Allowance" to create and sustain a Brighstone, Calbourne and Shalfleet Assembly representing all residents.

This would be as well as the normal councillor's duties as explained here

Your County District Assembly would be everyday people volunteering and a very well checked random names from a hat method The whole process would be as transparent as myself and the assembly members could agree with proper confidentiality for members. The Assembly would decide on my council votes and contributions if reaching a 2/3 or 66% majority. Modern citizens assemblies normally reach 75-90% agreement. In the case of no assembly agreement I could abstain or vote as I thought best. But would encourage agreement with further deliberation. A recent assembly making recommendations to the government on Assisted Dying reached an approximate 90% agreement. Please check #CitizensAssemblies , #MiniPublics , #CitizensJurys etc. You and they can help repair democracy for everyone
