She is Chairman of Woking Labour and has spent over 20 years building and leading 7tnine Developments, a UK-based consultancy delivering business innovation, transformation, and performance improvement across the UK and internationally.
Anila brings a practical, evidence-led approach to public service: clear priorities, budget discipline, and a focus on outcomes residents can actually feel. Since being elected in 2023, she has supported hundreds of resident cases, working with residents, officers, and community partners to resolve problems and improve local services.
Her priorities are rooted in a simple principle: a fair deal for Woking. That means stronger negotiation on behalf of residents, better scrutiny of proposals, and transparent decision-making — particularly in areas where contracts and delivery arrangements shape everyday life, including waste and street services, housing management, regeneration programmes, and the IT systems behind access to support.
As Woking moves into a new unitary authority, Anila believes it is more important than ever to have representatives who will show up, ask the hard questions, and insist on measurable performance from delivery partners. Her commitment is to listen, act, and deliver — with integrity, accountability, and public money treated as precious.
