Statement to voters
Hello everyone I'm Craig 38 years old from Walkden.
Full statement
I have lived in Walkden since February 2020 and have worked at Tesco Walkden since March 2024. Before moving to Walkden, I lived on Broomhall Road in Swinton with my wife Hannah.
I have been married for 12 years this August.
I am a people's person, always putting others before myself. I know alot say that, but it is true.In January 2024 I suffered a blood clot at the back of the brain, which caused me to have a mini stroke. Thankfully my former colleagues at G4S saved my life as too Salford Royal. Sadly i had to leave G4S due to my health. I was later diagnosed with a hole in the heart, which needed to be closed. Before that procedure, I ran as parliamentary candidate on July 4th 2024 putting the people first before my health. Yes it probably wasn't wise, but I wanted to put the people first.
In February 2025 I had the surgery and it was a success. I would personally like to thank Dr.Chaudry, Dr.contractor and the stroke team for me being here today, to carry on helping you, the people.
There are people out there far worse than myself and I will continue helping others for as long as I can.
