I work for a local charity that brings people together through community meals made out of food that would otherwise go to waste.

I am standing as your Green Party candidate because I believe our community deserves a fairer and greener future. Through my work, I see first-hand both the amount of good food that goes to waste and the growing number of people affected by rising living costs and social isolation.

Helping create welcoming spaces where people can share meals has shown me the real difference community-led action can make. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the challenges facing many residents, as well as the importance of practical, local solutions. I believe in listening to people, working collaboratively, and focusing on what will genuinely improve everyday life.

I am standing with the Green Party because I believe there needs to be a stronger focus on fairness, sustainability, and community wellbeing. Being able to contribute to improving local issues in Salford Quays would be a privilege.
