Statement to voters
Daniel grew up in Godalming, where he has lived his entire life.

With a background in TV production and a Master’s in International Journalism, he has used his professional skills to give back to the local community.
He successfully campaigned to save the Crown Court Car Park and led efforts to save the Boots Pharmacy in Farncombe, including launching an online petition that received over 1200 signatures and writing to the Boots UK CEO.
He is a keen fundraiser for local charities and an active member of Godalming Rotary Club.
Daniel won a by-election to Waverley Borough Council in 2024. He enjoys being a voice for those facing struggles and finds the job of a councillor thoroughly rewarding. As a councillor he has strongly pushed for the Broadwater Park redevelopment project to finally get built after a long 7 years of standstill.
He has stood up for victims of unfair CIL tax charges which left some residents with huge bills of 70k plus for simple home extensions.
