Statement to voters
Anita was elected as a Green councillor for Arun District Council in May 2023, she was then co-opted to Aldingbourne Parish Council in February 2024.
Full statement
Growing up in West Sussex and spending her teenage years walking and camping in West Sussex fostered a love and respect for the flora and fauna of this beautiful area and the community throughout. Anita has worked in Littlehampton since 2000, with a break of about six years working in Eastbourne.
Previously Anita worked eleven years at The Economist as a Graphic Designer, three years learning joinery in a workshop in Brighton and ten years working in the Organic Food sector, becoming involved with Traders Association and many community projects. Anita is passionate about Organic farming. She believes it is the only way to save our soil, ourselves, and our future, and would love Sussex to be a pesticide free county.
