Statement to voters

Greetings Blenheim Park Ward.

Full statement

I'm Lynn, a mother of 5 who has lived in Southend for 26 years. I'm standing for The Heritage Party as I believe we can protect our children and build a stronger, free nation. Our City has suffered under previous parties. You can make a difference by voting for The Heritage Party.

I am very passionate about keeping children safe, and oppose the RSE curriculums in schools and the right for parents to remove them from such classes. The sexualisation of children is not limited to the classroom, and I aim to ensure an end to the sexualisation and grooming not only in our schools but in spaces too.

Children and sexuality do not belong in the same sentence and they should not be asked about this by their teachers, or exposed to inappropriate lesson content, or books in our children’s libraries that damage their innocence or confuses them about their gender. All parents should be outraged about the schools bill. Restore our parental rights! Our children belong to us not the State.

All of Southend’s Heritage Party candidates understand, that to begin with councillors need to first go back to basics and ensure that our City runs efficiently, serving the basic needs of the people, before it accepts incentives and schemes from central government, (of which it does not legally have to! Such as the Southend SMART city scheme — part of agenda 2030, which means loss of your freedoms, control, tracking and risks to your health and safety.) We understand that the majority of Southend dislike the new bin system, which we would seek to reverse and any other such changes should be democratically put to those who pay council tax. Changes should be made based on what is best for our City and its residents, rather than ticking boxes of goals from ‘Net Zero’ climate scam nonsense, of which the council and many others have no grounds to be spending money on, as they can not prove a ‘climate emergency’ on scientific grounds.

We are pretty sure as a bare minimum we would all like to see clean streets, less rats, the survival of independent businesses, less crime and anti social behaviour, and public services (especially those funded through tax), remain FREE, to the public and our freedom of movement remain.

All our Heritage Party candidates remember a time when our City was something to be proud of. Our community spirit is now one of desperation and survival, instead of friendly and thriving. Many services and charities are filling in the gaps that our council and government are failing to provide.

Any new policies or schemes that the council acts upon, should be publicly transparent and should include legal and scientific evidence of its need, such as we are in a ‘housing crisis’, or a ‘climate crisis’, with unbiased facts, not invalid computer modelling or fear based assumptions.

Some of our national policies, which would be enacted at a local level as much as possible include:

Free speech and liberty,
Capped legal immigration and stopping Illegal immigration by protecting our borders. Ensuring that those who live in our country already, no matter their ethnicity, race or any other defining factor, can all benefit from our health and education systems and live in fit for purpose accommodation.
Ensuring that all new buildings in conservation areas are in keeping with the architectural flow of the area. And protecting our historical buildings from being unnecessarily knocked down and sold off to foreign companies. Making sure there is enough budget to maintain places like Southchurch hall park.
Ensuring all undertaken schemes are beneficial for residents and legally clear public health and safety guidelines.
Cash is kept as an option in all carparks and a legal means of transaction in all businesses.
Public services should remain free where possible, especially if it is funded with tax, i.e. tennis and basketball courts in our parks - We should not need an app to access these, or things such as duck feed. We also wish to keep the car parks in our green spaces free.
More money to fund police roles and supporting admin rather than more facial recognition and cameras.
Prioritising core needs of residents foremost, we should not be cutting vital health and social care schemes, such as help for those with dementia, in aid of funding ‘diversity officers’.
Stop pumping sewage into our seas.
