I’m sending you this letter because I would like to persuade you to vote for me in the Roebuck by-election on Thursday, 30th October.

In Roebuck, you have Labour councillors who are doing great work within the ward. Whether it’s getting the lighting and windows upgraded at the Crossroads Community Hub, working with the police to tackle anti-social behaviour at Shephalbury park, or leading litter picking sessions in the ward, your councillors have been working hard for you. However, there is more to be done. I will work closely with our MP Kevin Bonavia to keep delivering for Roebuck.

Reform councils have been focusing their efforts on pushing ideological policies. They should be working on improving local services and making their communities stronger. As your Labour candidate, I will work hard to improve everyday life for residents.

Thanks to Labour’s investment in Roebuck Surgery, local patients will be getting better access to appointments and improved services. At the same time Reform continues to talk about replacing our NHS with insurance companies competing against each other, putting profits before patients.
