Statement to voters
Scottish Parliament Elections 7th May 2026
Use your 1st Constituency Vote to vote for one of the main parties.Full statement
Use your 2nd vote on the Regional List to vote for your
NEW LOCAL REGISTERED POLITICAL PARTYTogether let’s start a revolution to remove the
mechanism which allows billionaires the ability to influence politics.
This IS achievable as to the nearest percentage point 100% of the electorate agrees with our objective. We only need around 25K List Votes out of a total electorate of 554K for us to secure one MSP and 50K votes to secure two MSPs.
WE ONLY REPRESENT THE PEOPLE LOCALLY
Your party only represents the people who live in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian North with zero external influence. Especially from billionaires.
OUR POLICY IS THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE
Your regional MSP will be bound by an UNCORRUPTIBLE system as they will vote as instructed directly by the party members from within the region.
ELECT PEOPLE DON’T ELECT POLITICIANS
Career politicians often start their careers in Freshers’ Week at Uni and then don’t acquire enough real-life experience to be telling us how to live our lives.
COMMON SENSE - NOT LEFT NOT RIGHT
All people want are common sense policies at which point people on the Left and the Right will often agree. The Left/Right divide is often artificial.
OUR INDEPENDENCE POLICY IS NEUTRAL
We are bringing unionists and nationalists together to fix politics. Once there is an Independence Referendum on the horizon members may vote to no longer be neutral. Three months later we will vote to decide to become unionist or nationalist. At that point the party will split in two and I will commit to helping the losing team to all resign and form a new local party with bottom-up control.
TWO LOCAL PARTIES WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE MEMBERS
AND BOTTOM-UP CONTROL WILL SOUND THE DEATH KNELL FOR BILLIONAIRE INFLUENCE OVER POLITICS.
REFORM received a £9M donation on 1/8/25 from a Thai Defence/Crypto billionaire. In Nov 2022 he donated £1M to Boris Johnson. In Jan 2023 his defence business Qinetiq secured an £80M contract.Published & Promoted by Marc Wilkinson on behalf of Edinburgh & East Lothian People
