My name is Lewis and I am proud to stand as your Green Party candidate for Maypole & Leyton Cross. Dartford is my home. I grew up here, I went to school here, I became who I am here. I am honoured to call myself a Dartfordian. I want to give back by serving my community and fighting for a more affordable, fairer and better Dartford for all.

Whilst out on the doorstep across Dartford, I’ve listened to parents worried about spiralling energy bills, NHS patients frustrated by under-funded services, drivers delayed on our congested roads and small-business owners yearning for a revitalised Dartford town centre. As your Green Party councillor, I’ll turn those concerns into action, through hard work and tireless effort, not just during the election but throughout the year.

As Chair of the Dartford Township Choir, I’ve witnessed the power of community in bringing people together. Dartford’s spirit was built on creative glory, and it’s time we make our town the great cultural centre once again.

This election is not about one candidate - it’s a choice about the future of our community. For too long have we lived in the shadow of division and stagnation. It’s time to unleash hope for an optimistic future.

‘Tough Decisions’ don’t need to mean targeting working and vulnerable people. I will fight cruel government welfare cuts. There is another way.
