Statement to voters
I support residents facing unfairness every day. Through my work as a human rights barrister, a trustee for the Bernie Grant Trust and at Citizens Advice Haringey, I know we achieve more when residents, volunteers and councillors work together. My involvement locally has shown me the strength of our community; I believe that fairness and opportunity is what Tottenham Hale needs. I’ll work hard for our residents’ dignity, and to champion our community. Our ward’s uniqueness matters to me. Raised and educated in Tottenham, I know our area’s challenges and potential; I’m committed to meaningful change.
