I’m standing for County Council because I believe local government should do more than manage crisis, it should help build a fairer future for all of us.

I grew up in St Albans and care deeply about the challenges facing our community. I’ve worked locally on food justice initiatives, supported young people through education and mentoring, and campaigned on climate, transport, and democratic reform. Whether pushing for a fairer voting system or advocating for safer streets, I believe politics must be rooted in care, accountability, and long-term thinking.

If elected, I’ll fight to:
– Make buses, cycling and walking safer, cheaper and more reliable
– Push the Council to act on the climate and nature emergencies, not just declare them
– Protect green spaces and stop unnecessary tree felling and overdevelopment
– Stand up for young people, and push for better access to housing, education and mental health support
– Tackle air pollution, waste, and the cost-of-living crisis with community-first solutions
