Eastbourne is my home.
Full statement
It’s where I’m raising my family, built my career, and spent years working to improve our town. I love Eastbourne, and I’m standing in this election because I want to give back to the place that has given me so much.
For nearly two decades, I worked for Eastbourne Borough Council—starting as a tree officer and working my way up to Director of Service Delivery, overseeing key services, staff, and budgets. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how the Council works—and crucially, how to fix it. I've seen first-hand why our services have declined, what the root causes are and what needs to change to get Eastbourne back on track.
For the last 18 years, our town has been let down by a Lib Dem-run Council that cuts services while always asking you to pay more. Our streets aren’t as clean, our roads and pavements are in need of repair, and vital community facilities have been abandoned. It doesn’t have to be this way. I have a plan to turn things around. It’s a plan built on experience—I have a proven track record of getting things done for Eastbourne, whether through my work at the Council, as a school governor, or by working with residents and businesses to deliver improvements.
We all know elections in Eastbourne are always a close race between the Conservatives and the Lib Dems. This year will be no different. If you want change, don’t waste your vote on a party that isn’t in the running. While other candidates can identify the problems, I am the only one with the knowledge, record, and experience to deliver the structural change that will get real results.
I would be honoured to have your support. With your vote, we can restore pride in our town and build an Eastbourne with a brighter future.
