I’ve spent most of my career in construction, worked abroad nannying, and passed a four-year course in homeopathy.
I've lived in Daventry since June 2020. I've discovered that it's a great town, more or less everything is in walking distance, yet in 5 mins (by car or bike) we're in the countryside, added bonus there's no traffic lights, all the green spaces connect, making town walking a pleasure, free parking is great for everyone, and it still feels villagey (just like Northampton used to). With a few more shops, restaurants and stuff for kids to do it would be perfect.
I'm standing as an Independent because I believe that the parties need to be overseen by men and women that are not dictated to by ANYONE except the residents they represent, I vehemently disagree with the FACT that our councillors are whipped by their parties, this has no place in our council.
I'm working together with Anna Cater and Dawn Branigan to highlight the importance of Independent councillors at West Northants Council. We believe that voting with our hearts and solely for the greater good of our residents is our duty.
