I was born and have lived in Devon my entire life. I have spent the past 8 years living with my family in the beautiful village of South Brent, where we intend to spend many more years. Professionally, I have worked for over a decade in and around the NHS; in strategic roles for Life Science organisations and during the Pandemic I left industry to work with the NHS. My work focus has always been supporting patient access to services and medicines.

South Brent and Yealmpton is a beautiful parish, but understanding what makes a community tick and flourish counts. Deprivation and inequity is often hidden in our rural communities and this creates unique barriers and challenges. Dependable public transport alongside health and wellbeing are all paramount to maintain and develop these thriving communities. Opportunities and support for young and elderly people in rural areas is also often overlooked. I would prioritise funding and resources in these areas.
