I’m Robert Shorrock and I'm proud to be standing as your Gipsy Hill Labour candidate.

Originally from Wigan, I have worked as a lawyer in London for many years. I have also worked as a caseworker for a Labour MP where I supported people with immigration claims, housing issues, and concerns about crime. As a renter in London for almost nine years, I know the unfairness of the system, and the need for renters' rights and new sustainable homes. I am passionate about fighting to make streets safer for everyone and have previously volunteered for a charity supporting those experiencing loneliness and vulnerability.
If elected I will build on the excellent work of Rebecca Spencer, and work closely with Christine Banton to be a visible, accessible councillor who listens and champions Gipsy Hill every step of the way.
