Ghazala moved to UK as a child almost 50 years ago.

Having lived in Havering for over 35 years and brought up a family of 4 kids and as a working Mum she knows what pressures ordinary folks face on daily basis. With her kids all now grown up, she is keen to be actively engaged in the local community. She has been a parent school governor and she has supported her husband's work in the NHS. Ghazala left school at 16 to care for her mother and younger siblings and went back into education later in life. She is passionate about everyone deserving a second chance and is particularly keen for the local council to support young people in our community, to unlock their potential. Has had various careers and is currently a dedicated driving instructor.
