Standing for our community, not a political party, in the election on 7 May
I am a dad of four, a project manager and community organiser.
Full statement
I’ve spoken to 1,000s of people in the ward, knocking on doors, listening to their concerns and challenges. I am the only independent candidate to be a councillor in Bethnal Green West. A vote for me is a vote for change, a vote for a better way of doing politics in Tower Hamlets.
Whoever the mayor is, if I become your independent councillor, I will:
- Represent EVERYONE in Bethnal Green West - I’ll be your voice and get you answers
- Work for safer streets throughout the area
- Pressure landlords to improve housing management
- Work with charities and schools to improve youth knowledge and skills for the job market
- Protect our community spaces like Canal Club Community Centre, Poyser Street outdoor seating and the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve
- Show people what a good councillor looks like
