Statement to voters
I am standing for the Liberal Democrats to offer real choice and much needed change to the electors of Liphook, Headley and Grayshott.

The Liberal Democrats are ready to offer a fresh approach. The Conservatives have been in control of Hampshire County Council for 28 years and have taken your vote for granted.
I have the experience and commitment required to be a successful County Councillor:
Leadership I have spent my career running complex organisations under financial pressure. As an experienced CEO I bring focus and delivery - exactly what HCC needs as budgets tighten and Council Tax rises.
Community Commitment I currently volunteer for three organisations supporting people with mental health, alcohol and substance abuse issues. Early support for these people matters and reflects Liberal Democrat values.
Councillor experience I have previous experience as a Parish Councillor with responsibilities including planning permission, highways, facility management and charities.
I want to work with our village communities to
- Protect and fix our local environment
- improve access to Social Care for adults and Special Educational Needs and Disability support for children and young people
- Re-think Road Maintenance so that we repair more defects and not less
I left the Conservatives after nearly 50 years because they are no longer an inclusive party. They have just been trying to mimic Reform UK. By contrast, it is the Liberal Democrats who offer responsibility, tolerance and respect as the essential elements of a free, fair and open society, founded on strong local communities,
