Statement to voters
I have lived in Worcester Park for 27 years.
Full statement
I have three son all of whom have attended local schools. I’m passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. My youngest son currently attends Coombe Boys School, where I have been a school Governor for the last year. Previously, I mentored primary school children from ethnic minority backgrounds at risk of exclusion. I am a coach at New Malden Football, where I have been coaching children's football for the last 10 years. I have also been a trustee for the Sickle Cell Society for eight years.
For the previous 16 years, I worked for Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and Imperial College London, supporting new research being put into frontline NHS practice to improve services for NHS patients.
My knowledge of the NHS and research will enable me to support the improvement of GP and Hospital services in our community, and ensure that we get the full benefit of the London Cancer Hub being developed in Sutton.
