I’ve lived and worked in the London Borough of Sutton since 1995 as a business administrator, artist, advocate, and, more recently, a broadcaster.

British-born with a multicultural heritage, I celebrate our cultural diversity.

Since 2008, I have worked as a Community Arts Practitioner, bringing people together through playful creativity, delivering participatory arts projects on local high streets and parks, reaching thousands of residents, and co-creating the Sutton Mosaic Memorial Bench in honour of female victims of male violence.

I define community as “communication in unity through diversity and inclusion.” I engage with people from all walks of life – children, teens and families, survivors of domestic abuse, rough sleepers, excluded pupils, neurodiverse learners, ESOL students, and older residents facing isolation. These experiences have reinforced my belief that every voice deserves to be heard and that kindness, connection, and empathy matter.

In that time, I also co-founded the Sutton Home Education Forum, chaired Arts Network Sutton, and sat on the board of Sutton Housing Partnership, and more.

For all of us, and our children, I have hope, and that is worth standing for. If elected, my efforts may have even more impact for the residents and businesses in Wallington North.
