I’m proud to have been born in Whipps, raised in Walthamstow, and went to school in Leyton and Leytonstone.

My career is in health policy & strategy, systematically tackling inequalities and listening & working with community groups on their lived experiences.

Being a councillor would be an extension of my work serving and helping people to improve their lives.

I’m a revert to Islam for over 3 years, so you will find me in my local mosque or supporting the revert centre in Leyton. Otherwise, you will see me in the Gym in the Market or with my old schoolmates playing football in Goals Chingford every Sunday night!

What Peter stands for
As my career shows, I care about improving lives, especially those in need and the vulnerable. We have all been let down in our living standards for too long, yet I believe in hope and the possibility of change for good.

I found the Green Party as the place to continue this mission to help people across society, including those oppressed around the world through genocide and human rights abuses. From health services, to climate, to the local economy, to infrastructure & housing and beyond, I will work for a future where all people can contribute and are integrated into the decisions that impact their lives.

We will be a shining example to the rest of the country and I will deliver with honesty, transparency, accessibility and accountability.
