Voting member of BAFTA. I have experience of being employed, self-employed and running a small, limited company. Lived in Sutton for over 50 years. Went to school in Cheam & college in Carshalton. 2 sons who both went to Sutton schools including Glenthorne where I was on the Parent Council. I have personal experience struggling to get SEND support

A lot of experience juggling childcare & later care for disabled husband and elderly parents. I’m passionate about supporting carers (Young & Adult) practically and emotionally. I know just how much difference contact with The Sutton Carers’ Centre can make.

Like most of us, I’m concerned about the vulnerability of children growing up in Care and the transition as they leave the Care system. I would be an advocate working to assist them to live positive, independent lives and be valued by our community

I’m a member of my GP’s Patient Participation Group and the Sutton-wide Patient Representation Group which holds regular meetings organised by Sutton Healthwatch. I want our local patients’ voice to be heard nationally. We must have a say in the NHS 10 Year Plan especially regarding waiting lists, access to GP appointments, speedy referrals, diagnoses and of course safe hospitals.

I’m a member of Sutton Community Fairtrade Group, Sutton Community Farm and have signed up to get involved in a Sutton Community Energy group. The Co-op Party’s work with Labour has improved the potential for community ownership. I want local businesses to thrive. By working with Police and Trading Standards we need to root out criminal activity whether in illegal sales or shoplifting.
