I've lived in the nearby area for a few years and have had the chance to speak with many local residents across the area. There’s a strong sense of pride in where people live, but also a shared feeling that these communities don’t always get the attention, investment, or opportunities they deserve.

With more Green councillors on Salford City Council, we can change that. We can focus on what Pendleton and Charlestown need — from improving connections across Salford and into Manchester, to supporting local businesses and ensuring our streets are clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Pendleton and Charlestown deserves to be heard, valued, and invested in. Together, we can build stronger, fairer communities that we’re all proud to call home.
