For over 50 years, the Conservative Party has been in opposition in Greenwich, while the Labour Party has led the Royal Borough of Greenwich. For too long, one party has dominated our local politics and our community has been left without the progress it deserves.

This election on 7 May is not a contest between Labour and the rest it is a real opportunity for change.

A vote for Reform UK risks dividing that change. Figures like Nigel Farage may dominate headlines, but West Thamesmead needs serious, local leadership focused on our community not national distractions.

Here in West Thamesmead, Labour has held power for the past 16 years. During that time, residents have seen rising concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as ongoing issues with littering, pollution and rise in council tax. Our community deserves better and it deserves to be heard.

This election will be close. Every vote will matter.

I am standing to represent you because I believe West Thamesmead can do better. Since moving here in 2017, I have built my life in this community. I studied law at the University of Westminster, gaining knowledge in housing, employment, family, immigration, and human rights law. These are not just subjects, and they are real issues that affect people’s daily lives.

If elected, I will bring that knowledge, commitment, and determination to serve every resident of West Thamesmead. I will work to ensure your concerns are taken seriously and that our area finally gets the attention and improvement it deserves.

On 7 May, vote for change. Vote for a stronger future for West Thamesmead.
