Statement to voters
I spent 18 years of my life living in a run down area in the north east where the council weren’t listening and nothing was improving. It felt like we all just had to accept it. After moving to Salford four years ago, a place I’m proud to now call home, I can still see some of those same issues again. This time, I’m not accepting it. People are feeling let down and things aren’t changing. This is why I’m standing. I’m here to listen, take action and make sure things actually improve.
