Statement to voters
Reform represents local people, but not as career politicians, as local citizens and business people who suffer the same crime, poor services, limited facilities and rising local taxes you do.
Full statement
We know what it means to put the customer (you) first.
We know your needs come before the needs of the council.
We know a near £600m debt and £422k per month interest payment is not the way to rescue a council - it's the road to bankruptcy. Reform would never have let this happen. We will run the borough efficiently and for the benefit of you, the customers.
We will return to safety, run efficiently, remove waste, improve integration, address local concerns around HMOs, education, crime, anti-social behaviour.
The customer comes first - not politics, not ideology, you!
We will work with you and for you, because we are you.
