Statement to voters
Hi, I’m Cameron, the Green Party’s candidate for Medlock Vale.

I’m one of Oldham Green Party’s Youth Officers, a youth worker a local Community Interest Company, an ex-GCSE tutor, and last but not least, a young man passionate about creating a better future for our community.
I’ve lived in the Medlock Vale ward for most of my life, and have seen a lot of change within my 18 years of living here- I’ve seen a decrease in services, a loss of community spirit, and most unfortunately, I’ve seen a cut in funding for youth services. That’s just one of my reasons for standing as the Green Party candidate for our ward, and there are many more, which (if you ask me) I’d love to tell you about.
I’m hoping that I’ll be able to be elected as the councillor for our ward, and that through this I’m going to get the best possible results for our community; an increase in funding for our youth services, strengthened community ties, and giving our residents someone that will listen. I look forward to hearing from you, and I can’t wait to see what I can do to help!
