Statement to voters

### **To the People of St Mary’s & St James **

I’ve called Bexley home for over 15 years.

Full statement

I chose to raise my three daughters here because of our strong community, green spaces, and the sense of safety we used to have. But like you, I’ve watched standards slip year after year.

Bexley Council has had it too easy for too long. Reform UK will change that.
I’m standing because our borough deserves better services, sensible development, safer streets, and a council that respects your money.

#### I see the decline every day — and I know you do too

As a professional driver, I’m out on our roads daily. I see the potholes that damage cars and endanger cyclists. I see the fly-tipping blighting places like North cray Road , Vicarage Road sitting there for weeks. I see how abandoned areas attract antisocial behaviour.

And as a parent, I worry. I want my daughters — and all our children — to grow up in a Bexley where they feel safe walking home, where parks aren’t vandalised, and where the council actually deals with problems.

Council tax up. Standards down. Enough.

Your bills have gone up, but has Bexley got better?

  • Rubbish left uncollected
  • Roads crumbling
  • Local facilities neglected

Reform UK are the taxpayers’ watchdog. Where we’ve won seats across the country, we’ve focused on one thing: fixing the basics and giving residents value for money. I’ll bring that same focus here.

#### Protect Bexley, don’t concrete over it

I love this borough — its history, its green spaces, its community feel. That’s why I’ll fight:

  • No to over-development without the roads, schools, and GP surgeries to support it
  • Yes to protecting our parks and open spaces
  • Yes to planning that puts Bexley residents before developers
  • Yes to tackling fly-tipping and antisocial behaviour with proper enforcement and CCTV in hotspots
  • Yes to backing Bexley village— sorting parking, improving transport, and helping local shops thrive

#### It’s time to send a message

Labour and the Conservatives have had their chance. The result? Broken promises, debt, rising crime, uncontrolled migration, and a country that feels less secure. They’ve stopped listening to people like you.

Reform UK offers a real alternative. We have the vision and the backbone to put Great back into Britain — starting right here in Bexley.

On May 7th, you can start that change.

A vote for Reform UK is a vote for a better Bexley and a better Britain.

I WILL listen. I WILL take action. Your voice WILL be heard.
