Sam has experience of being a councillor in the past.
She supports Portsmouth's bid to stay on its own and not be merged in with other councils to form a monster-council in south-east Hampshire.
If this goes ahead, it will mean that Portsmouth would have to cut millions of pounds of local services on the first day the new council starts, as it would inherit a £67 million deficit from Conservative-led Hampshire County Council. Things like community wardens, libraries, sports facilities, the youth service, the carers service, and more, will face cuts and closure. This election people can send Keir Starmer and Labour HQ a message – Hands Off Portsmouth!
