Married for 45 years with two daughters who both work and live in Norfolk.
A Reform UK member since 2024, his first political involvement, Paul has a keen interest in healthy and active aging.
He founded and is the Chief Executive of the award-winning Walking Football Association (the WFA), the National Governing body in England for the sport that has transformed, prolonged and saved many lives, improving the mental and physical health of its senior participants, including people living with Parkinsons, Cancer, deafness, and other impairments. Paul has led the development of the England Walking Football teams which won the Sport’s World Cup last year.
If elected, Paul will promote and encourage a greater focus on healthy lifestyles for all, supporting strong family and British values. Promoting regional economic growth is a key element in our strategy.
Paul has always taken a keen interest in community affairs and is the founder and organiser of his successful village Community Speed Watch team as well as starting the local Walking Football Club in this ward.
The Elmham and Mattishall region, and Norfolk as a county, have enormous potential for business, social and tourism development, and Paul’s extensive business, life experience and skill set will be an asset to the Council’s work and the many social and infrastructure challenges (including the ubiquitous potholes) the area needs to address.
Paul enjoys gardening, travel, sport, chocolate, magic and is a quiz show aficionado, having appeared on 5 National TV Quiz shows.
