Statement to voters
I’m Sarah,
I was born and raised in East Hull and I am the candidate for Longhill and Bilton Grange.

I have been a self employed hairdresser most of my adult life and I have seen the struggles amongst my community.
Whatever area you are from, we all have things in common, our worries: Worries about paying rent, business rates and mortgages.
There is a housing crisis, people are unable to buy an affordable home, put food on the table, pay utility bills, or even afford their rent. Meanwhile, the rich just keep getting richer. Community morale is low.
Let’s bring our public services back under under our control. Let’s build affordable homes for everyone, not just homes for the wealthy.
The Green Party isn’t funded by billionaires, it’s funded by you and me – and Hull deserves better. Hull deserves hope not hate. The people who make Hull the wonderful, colourful city it is deserve to be united, not divided.
