Statement to voters
My name is Drew Tuffs, and I am proud to stand as the Green Party candidate for West Carr.

I am currently a student at the University of Hull, studying British Politics and Legislative Studies, with a strong and long-standing interest in how politics can better serve people.
I believe politics should start and end with the needs of our communities. Too often, those in power are out of touch with the realities of everyday life. Many people in our city—and across the country—are still feeling the effects of years of austerity: public services stretched to breaking point, social housing in short supply, an NHS under immense pressure, and local infrastructure neglected.
I am standing because I believe we can do better. The Green Party is committed to rebuilding our communities, investing in public services, and reversing damaging cuts. Together, we can restore a sense of fairness, dignity, and hope for the future.
