Dear residents of Queensbury WARD, Most of you who are cricket enthusiasts may already know me, but for those who don’t, here’s a quick intro.

I grew up and studied in Germany, and I speak German and English alongside my mother tongue. By profession, I’m an IT engineer, working hands-on to keep systems running smoothly and solving problems every day.
Outside of work, my real passion has always been community building through sport. I’ve been actively involved in launching and promoting grassroots cricket initiatives in Germany and here in the UK, helping bring people together and creating opportunities for young people.
I also represent my colleagues as a Workers’ Council Representative at a globally recognised British media company, making sure their voices are heard and supported.
My efforts have been recognised with the Connecting Communities Award (Buckinghamshire, 2024) and the Official of the Year Award (Yorkshire Cricket Board, 2025) for my contribution to Sports.

Standing as a councillor candidate is a natural next step for me. It will give me the chance to do even more, especially for young people in Queensbury, by creating opportunities, supporting new projects, and strengthening our community.
I understand the commitment this role requires, and I’m fully prepared to give my time and energy. I’ll also be working behind the scenes to support the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2026 in Headingley and across the UK, so you might spot me around on match days!
