I'm standing for County Council here and wanted to introduce myself to anyone who doesn't know me already. 😊

I've lived in South Woodham Ferrers all my life and have recently been elected onto the Town Council.

I work in education, having supported children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at Woodville Primary School, and delivered classes for local home-educated children in the village hall. I have a degree from Cambridge University, and I currently work as a tutor helping children and teenagers in the local community reach their full potential.

I have a track record of advocating for, and supporting people in, times of need through my voluntary work with the Citizens Advice Housing Law Clinic, where I supported people facing eviction, poor housing conditions, and abusive practices.

I am passionate about protecting our wild and natural spaces, freeing our rivers from sewage pollution, and keeping our community spaces and high streets alive and bustling. In addition, as a new wheelchair user, I’m keen to improve local accessibility and support services.

I want to be a voice for everyone in the community - acting fast to fix roads and potholes, protecting our public services from spending cuts, and ensuring everyone receives the help they need, deserve, and are entitled to, from social care to SEND.

You’d be surprised what a Green voice on the council could do!
