Statement to voters
I’m Chelmsford born and bred, and a university lecturer of maths by trade.
Full statement
I’ve recently moved back to Chelmsford to be closer to family and to start one of my own, so I care deeply about the future of our local community. This includes important local issues like making our roads safer (potholes and speed), ensuring The Vineyards has the right shops and services (e.g. a pharmacy), and protecting our green spaces.
Our current politicians lack vision and are too afraid to make meaningful change because they’re all too worried about the next election cycle. This needs to change. We need change.
The Green Party offers this change without sowing division. I want to represent Great Baddow and Galleywood in this process, and I can do so with logical thinking, the patience to listen and the courage to speak up.
