Statement to voters
I’m standing as an independent candidate in Bellingham.
Full statement
For the past 3 years, I’ve been taking action locally — collecting over 1,300 bags of litter, reporting fly-tipping, restoring neglected spaces, and creating a community garden in Bell Green.
I didn’t start this to run for office. I started because standards had slipped and I care about the area my children are growing up in.
But after years of doing the work, I’ve seen what’s possible — and what isn’t working.
That’s why I’m putting my name on the ballot.
I believe Bellingham deserves:
- Cleaner streets and properly maintained spaces
- Real accountability when things go wrong
- Thoughtful development that improves our area
- Support for residents who want to make a difference locally
I’m not backed by a political party.
I’m focused on Bellingham.
If elected, I’ll bring the same energy, persistence and practical action into the council that I’ve already shown on our streets.
