Statement to voters

Having served 9 years in the RAF as an Electronics Engineer, I have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to serving others.

Full statement

A resident of Exwick for over 14 years, I am a single parent currently home educating my teenage daughter to spare her the damaging effects of our broken education system.
Our community here in Exwick is often overlooked, whether that's parking issues, weeds, or missed bin collections, and I share your frustration with these problems. But with a strong voice for Exwick on the City Council, who knows our part of the city well and has its best interests at heart, there is good reason to be optimistic about Exwick's future.

Exeter City Council is not working for Exwick. Their 'Exeter Plan' deliberately sets out to minimise space for cars. For example, they have allocated the area in front of St Davids station, including its car parks, for a 'low-car' residential development, and don't indicate how much parking for the station will be retained. That risks more station users treating Exwick like a park and ride.

They increased parking charges in the city centre by an average of 7.4% last year - while borrowing over £1 million to install solar panels on buildings.
They do not take your needs and concerns in to consideration.
