It should be a place we’re proud of and where people want to visit, but it has sadly become a hollowed-out city centre: endless vape and charity shops, litter, drugs, anti-social behaviour… We can’t continue like this.

The good news is we have the opportunity to change things for the better.

After qualifying as a solicitor and pursuing a career in international finance, including over a decade in FinTech helping expanding micro-businesses all over the world to succeed, I now want to use my experience to transform our city for the better. My background in law and business means I’m well qualified to scrutinise budgets, contracts, and outsourcing, and ensure taxpayers’ money is spent as effectively as possible.

I still love Exeter — I know it really well and am a keen local historian — and I would love to see it restored to a prosperous, thriving, well-maintained regional business hub, and a place worth visiting.
