Statement to voters
My name is Andrew, and I am standing as a Green Party candidate because I can no longer be complacent in the face of the rise of the far right and the negligence of the established political parties.

I will do what is right simply because it is right.
I spent a decade as a secondary school science teacher in the most deprived areas of the North East. Now, as a senior financial crime consultant for one of the world's largest audit firms and a regular food bank volunteer, I want to bring my commitment to transparency and evidence-based solutions to our ward.
I support the Green Party because they align with my values and are the only party brave enough to openly stand up for common decency in the face of the hatred stirred up by those seeking power in Westminster. I would be honoured to earn your support.
