Shaun is a local man born and raised in Hastings.

He works in healthcare and has held previous roles in social care, giving him a clear understanding of the pressures facing local services, from GP access to adult social care provision. Having been involved in local politics from an early age, he has a strong grasp of the issues that matter most to residents—whether it’s the need for more affordable housing, tackling the rising cost of living, improving public transport links, or protecting vital community spaces.
He is committed to building on the progress made by the current Green-led council, particularly in areas such as environmental sustainability, support for local communities, and efforts to create a fairer local economy. Shaun believes more can be done to address inequality across the town, improve opportunities for young people, and ensure that regeneration benefits everyone—not just a few.
Above all, he is dedicated to making sure every resident has a voice in decision-making and that Hastings continues to move toward a greener, fairer, and more inclusive future.
