Lucy has lived in Gosport her entire life, and she recently joined the Green Party last year after becoming disillusioned with the way that the current Labour government has been handling things.

She believes that the Green Party has renewed hope in politics, not just for her, but for so many people, and she wants to be a part of that movement. Crucially, they put people and the environment at the centre of everything they do, and value life over shareholder profits. Some of their policies that she is passionate about include:
- Bringing the railways back into public ownership
- Investing in green energy and phasing out fossil fuels
- Protecting our local nature and wildlife
- Taxing the ultra wealthy
