Statement to voters
I'm standing for the Green party in the Coningham ward of H&F, because I believe in community, sustainability and solidarity with the victims of genocide.

On the climate and ecology crisis, the Labour administration talks a good game, but is not acting with anything like enough urgency. Nor is it doing enough to tackle social problems, from street crime to poorly maintained housing and local faciltities, and a run-down Uxbridge Road. I would work tirelessly to make a difference in the neighbourhood I've called home for 26 years.
The huge Labour majority in council has bred arrogance and complacency: councillors not replying to their constituents' concerns; housing damage left repaired; the council repeatedly siding with big developers over local residents; millions of the H&F pension fund still invested in Israeli and other arms companies.
Thanks to our first-past-the-post voting system, Labour is likely to retain overall control in the Town Hall, but for the administration to be emboldened and held to account by Green Party councillors would be good for all of us (even Labour). We can win in Coningham: vote for hope, vote Green!
