Statement to voters
I'm standing as a Green councillor because I believe that the residents deserve better.

We deserve well funded local services and a clean environment. We deserve to be listened to and our needs and safety to be prioritised over the profits of billionaire investors.
The last few years, I've coordinated a mutual aid group and worked with charities to provide asylum seekers with a real community and essential services - healthy food, clothes, advice and exercise. Meanwhile, our government demonised immigrants and refugees instead of addressing the pressing concerns of our communities - rising rents, housing falling into disrepair, loss of public spaces and youth services.
As a councillor, I would work to amplify yours and your neighbours' voices. I want the council to work for the residents - the decision making process should be transparent and participatory.
My priorities are investing in affordable housing, youth services and community spaces, public transport as well as meaningful local climate action.
