James has lived in Wadhurst for fourteen years.

He has had along career in education, including 10 years as a headteacher leading a primary school and children’s centre. He is active in local environmental projects including litter picking and wild flower verges.
As this post is likely to run for less than 2 years my priorities are:
• A review of road maintenance- aiming to introduce local contractors to deal with urgent pot hole repairs.
• Using my experience, support the establishment of early intervention support for children with special needs and be a strong advocate for families.
•Aim to set up and support litter picking groups across the area and work to make it easier for groups to create and maintain wildflower verges.
