Statement to voters
Zubin has lived a few hundred metres from Church Street for his whole life, and has always loved the vibrancy of the area and its many food stalls, shops, and arts spaces.
Full statement
He joined the Green Party because of its support for environmental protection and immigrants’ rights, and its approach to reducing socio-economic inequality. Having helped to deliver sporting and academic youth programmes for several years, he is particularly keen to ensure that young people in Church Street have opportunities to develop their skills and engage with their community, which can also help to reduce rates of anti-social behaviour and crime.
