Statement to voters
I'm Kimberley Barrass, born and raised in the North-East before working away, in London, across the UK and in Europe.

I returned home to Newcastle over ten years ago and moved to Throckley over three years ago to enjoy its fabulous location and natural surrounding beauty.
Since returning home I was disillusioned with two party politics. However, in recent times the ability of other parties to succeed and deliver has been inspiring and I joined the Green Party to contribute back to my community and country.
In particular, I believe that the positive politics of the Green Party, as stated in our manifesto, alongside my own personal experience of successful project delivery represents the best option for the Throckley, Walbottle & Newburn ward to make sure that the council delivers for our community and that our beautiful home ward is centered in all council spending and decisions.
