Mohammed is a community activist and qualified food safety trainer based in Elswick,. He plays an active role in strengthening the community and supporting diaspora development initiatives. He has reintroduced Bangla School, raised funds for Palestine, flood victims of Bangladesh and Pakistan, earthquake victims of Turkey. He is General Secretary of Newcastle Bangladeshi Association and since 2018, he has held the position of Joint Secretary of the Greater Sylhet Development and Welfare Council UK, contributing to welfare, education, and community link programmes between the UK and Bangladesh.
